Bangladesh Bondhu Foundation (BONDHU) orchestrated a vibrant three-day Bondhu Mela from February 3rd to February 5th, 2023, hosted at Bararia, Suruj Bishweshwari High School in Gharinda, Tangail. BONDHU's sister organization, Bashori - A Nazrul Center, was this program's co-organizer. 

The auspicious inauguration unfolded on 3rd February 2023, at 3:30 pm, followed by the traditional Bangladeshi stick game, Lathi Khela. Dr. Engineer Khalequzzaman, the program manager of Bangladesh Bondhu Foundation (BONDHU), and Bashori's president, delivered a warm welcome speech. The event was graced by esteemed personalities including Mr. Alhaj Md. Sanowar Hossain, MP for Tangail-5 constituency, as the chief guest. Notable figures such as Tangail Sadar Upazila Chairman Alhaj Shah Jahan Ansari, Deputy Director of the Department of Environment, Tangail, Zamir Uddin, Agronomist Rumana Akhtar, Upazila Agriculture Officer, Tangail, and several other dignitaries attended as special guests.

The day's activities included a recital of Kazi Nazrul Islam's timeless poem, "Bidrohi," led by the renowned reciter Mr. Tito Munshi. A thought-provoking discussion ensued with distinguished invitees sharing their insights. The evening turned vibrant with a captivating performance of Nazrul Sangeet by the talented artists of Bashori, concluding the day's scheduled events at 8:00 pm with the screening of the documentary film 'Rajbandir Jabanbandi' by Kazi Nazrul Islam.

The engaging program of the second day commenced on February 4th, 2023, at 11:00 am, featuring sessions of Nazrul Sangeet, poetry recitations, and a dance competition by students. Bashori Leto Troupe enthralled the audience with Nazrul Sangeet, followed by the spirited Ha-doo-doo competition, a traditional pastoral game of Bangladesh. In the afternoon, the theater enthusiasts were treated to the staging of Nazrul's drama titled 'Chashar Song' (The Comedy of Peasant). A quiz competition ensued in the evening, followed by the captivating performance of 'Purono Bolod Notun Bou' (Old Fool New Wife), a comedy-drama by Kazi Nazrul Islam, presented by Bashori Leto Theater Troupe. The day concluded with the humorous drama 'Swami-Strir Jhogra' (Quarrel of Husband-Wife) staged by Bashori Leto Troupe.

The concluding day, February 5th, 2023, commenced with Nazrul Sangeet, poetry recitations, and dance competitions at 11:00 am, followed by another captivating performance by Bashori Leto Troupe. The final round of the Ha-doo-doo game ensued in the afternoon, followed by a prize distribution ceremony and a discussion meeting. The eventful day continued with a quiz competition, leading up to the culminating performance of Nazrul Sangeet. The conclusion of the three-day event unfolded with the staging of 'Bouyer Biye' (Wife's Marriage), a comedy-drama by Kazi Nazrul Islam, presented by the Bashori Leto Troupe, marking the successful conclusion of the festivities.
